Poems

One-Eyed Tear Fall
One-eyed tear fall
Shows affection does not
Last beyond the wind
Knocked out of kissing
Distance cardboard cutouts
Bracketed to fill imagined place
Inventable or fungible or stretched
To limits walled apart
From splice points urgently
Kept open field that fill
The coffers with estrangement
Shadowing pince-nez tipping
At an easy rate absorbing water
Feint
I Don’t Know You Abigail
I don’t know you Abigail
My memory absorbs your
Vestments dripping with rain
One drowsy afternoon
Of jazz and sacrament
Near Sacramento the unspoken
Winifred violinist supreme
Of willow entropy I tap open
And shut case stay put
Or stray or unsay weaponry
As slack as poultice preyed upon
For keeps and stylized sheepskin
Proof of tenses mentioned in a
Haze
Fresh Air Lichtenstein
Newsprint gave it up for sleeves
Of info drawn blood cast
Stoked to mention innocent fenetre
Level with me you’re an amateur
With skill lead foot finger dexterity
And silo light fresh air Lichtenstein
Alas near friendly shapes converse
In style and shapely suffragette
Leanings near windows viewable
From foghorn intonations panning
Scenic shoulds and cinema
Still shielded from intention same old
Scansion near a mansion planted on the
Coast
