Raunch
by Eleanor Matthews
Raunch:
Raunch is a concrete poetry series of crude, yet very overthought sex jokes – inspired by both Kurt Vonnegut and interjections
often made by 13-year-old boys. Rauch is concrete as scenes are built entirely from text- utilizing a version of Helvetica with
a very upsetting, extremely varied kerning. Raunch was originally printed in 10 different colors of cardstock and distributed
around town: to friends, strangers, and posted in public places. There were 50 prints and no two pieces were the same.
